The genre is mainly electro/pop and I have chosen to represent this through the colour and editing style.
I have decided that I am only going to have one actress who will be playing the part of the artist, she will be lip syncing and also acting as a "behind the scenes" insight of the artists character including photo shoot/bloopers style videos to help portray the personality of the artist more.
I am taking inspiration from key female independent pop artists like Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Jessie J, I feel I am doing so by only having one key female character with a strong character.
I do not want to use harsh effects in my video, bright colours will only be achieved by the choice of make up and clothing as I want my model to wear brightly coloured clothes and a statement make up look in front of a white background and also plain clothes in front of a graffiti wall to show contrast and to film in different locations.
I want to keep exactly the same angle in both locations and I also want the model to be in the same perspective in shot so the footage looks professional and not in different angles.
My target audience is young people, mainly girls between 16-21 and I feel like I will be able to show this through the choice of location, colours, editing style and fashion
