Music Video Proposal

I am creating a music video to the song ‘Souls to Fuse’ by Jill Zimmerman, this song is about the writer and her relationship with somebody else. The two key elements of the song are her voice with  how she sings the lyrics and the piano playing in the background which gives it a more sincere yet still romantic feel.
When I picture what I want this video to look like I see the camera following the activities of my model.  I imagine them to be in a very quiet environment such as a beach or woodland area, both of these are places where I would like to film some footage for the video. I think there should only be one character in my video as the song is almost like the thoughts of the model and I want to really focus on that.
The style of the video will be a mixture of concept and narrative. I want my model to lip sync some of the most important or dramatic line of the song but I don’t want her to lip sync to a lot of it as I want the lyrics to remain as thoughts and memories. The rest of the video will be in a concept style although some of the actions will relate to the lyrics of the song.

I already know that when I edit this video I want to slow most of the footage down to give it a more emotional feel, I also don’t want to use any harsh filters and would like to keep it quite misty to make it look more romantic and dream like. I am also going to use the effect of layers to make my footage look slightly more transparent and so I can include different parts of my footage on top of each other for example a sun set and a close up of movement in nature perhaps from birds flying in the sky.
My intended audience will be 16-21 year old females, who have a unique and quirky style.
